  • Making great strides into the future by investing in
emerging fields & uplifting the next generation.

On September 17th of this year, Voltage Inc. greets 25 years since its foundation. We have reached this quarter century milestone because of the blessings and support of all the people with whom we’ve had the pleasure of connecting with along the way, and for that I can be nothing but grateful.

Voltage Inc. came into being in 1999, offering up visual novel games at the dawn of the mobile content era. Armed with storytelling skills handed down and developed over time, we cut our teeth on hit romance games aimed at women, and from there ventured into other fields, including movies, in-person events, stage plays, music, and much more. In 2011, we expanded into the global market, starting with English-speaking regions, and currently our products are enjoyed by users all around the world.

With the dizzying speed at which the world of entertainment moves, we’re currently focused on investing in emerging fields and raising future leaders from among our young, promising employees. In concrete terms, we’re expanding beyond app-based games and into new fields like digital comics and console games. It’s our belief that by providing new ways to play, we’re injecting energy and joy into the daily lives of our users.

Whatever changes the next quarter century may bring, one thing I firmly believe is that our power to tell stories will never change. I hope you’ll give us even greater support in the coming years, and that you’ll all join us in exploring these changes. Here’s to many more adventures together.

  • Continuing to craft stories that touch people’s hearts,
    now and for always.

Allow me to begin by expressing my deepest gratitude to all of the people who have loved, supported, and worked on Voltage Inc. content over the past 25 years.

The world has undergone massive changes within the last 25 years. Smartphones have become the norm, allowing people to access all manner of content with the touch of a fingertip. On the other hand, because of how easy it is, I believe we’ve come to recognize all the more the importance and significance of going to the effort of directly meeting, speaking with, and making contact with others. As we women have made advancements in our ever-changing society, life should have become so much more convenient, and yet we find ourselves busier than ever.

Amid an era where things flow and shift by the hour, I believe that if there’s one thing that never changes, it’s the value of stories. They are a constant comfort to people, providing strength and giving people the energy to live another day. Even within Voltage Inc., where we embrace employees of all ages, nationalities, and viewpoints, we are all driven by a shared knowledge: the power of stories has saved us in some way, and now we wish to pass that on to help others.

With constant awareness that we are experts at our craft, we will aim to create content for even more people to enjoy. To achieve this goal, we will spare no effort now or in the future.
