Fans get excited for unreleased apps at the fully-attended fan meet-up “Anime Expo 2018” in Los Angeles Event Report

Voltage Inc. (Main Branch: Tokyo, President: Yuzi Tsutani) attended Anime Expo 2018 which was held from 7/5 till 7/8 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The four-day event was filled with lots of excitement, including the Voltage Inc.-sponsored AX Butler Café, and the company’s first Western fan meet-up, which was attended by over 400 people.

Anime Expo is North America’s largest anime and Japanese culture exhibition. This year, over 350,000 people from over 70 different countries came to experience this large-scale event.
Anime Expo 2018 marked Voltage Inc.’s fourth year attending. This year, Voltage Inc. partnered with Anime Expo to produce the AX Butler Café, where fans could purchase exclusive Voltage Inc. merchandise. Also in the café, attendees could experience “kabe-don” with Fujibayashi Sakuya from the app Samurai Love Ballad: PARTY. There were fifteen shows in total, with most shows sold out.
Voltage Inc. also held its first-ever Western fan meet-up, which was attended by over 400 people, filling the room to capacity. Unreleased videos from both Love 365: Find Your Story and Samurai Love Ballad: PARTY were shown, along with promotional videos from two unreleased apps, Makai Ouji to Miwaku no Nightmare and Ayakashi Koi-Meguri, which both received an incredible reaction from the crowd.
Furthermore, certain retailers sold Voltage Inc. merchandise on the show floor. One retailer will also be taking the merchandise to the east coast of the United States to sell at both OTAKON (8/10) and New York Comic-con (10/4).
Since 2011, Voltage Inc.’s romance app series continues to grow in popularity in the Western market, thanks in no small part to its large, dedicated fan base. Voltage Inc. will continue to give back to its wonderful fans by providing them with high-quality romantic entertainment.
